Effective October 1, 2025, to improve timeliness of referrals, only Ocean eReferrals will be accepted. For information about setting up Ocean eReferrals in your practice, please contact the Ontario Health East eReferral team at @email.

Please add the Kingston Health Sciences Centre’s (KHSC) Neurology directory listings (General, Movement Disorder, Epilepsy, EMG, Cognitive, etc.) to your favourites on the healthmap. The faxed referrals below will no longer be accepted from GP offices on October 1, 2025, onward. Only Ocean eReferrals will be accepted. Please send referral letters containing all pertinent patient information to the Neurology office (details below). Please use the dedicated referral templates as provided below and where relevant.

Neurology eConsult

Conditions or problems that are particularly apt for eConsult:

1. Early Parkinson’s Disease.
2. Undifferentiated tremor. A patient video with their hands/legs at rest, with their arms in an outstretched position, and performing “finger to nose” testing would improve the value of such an eConsult.
3. Essential tremor.
