Getting to the hospital
Kingston Health Sciences Centre provides care, services and support at two different locations in downtown Kingston and near Queen's University.
Located in the heart of downtown Kingston, covering one city block between Brock and Johnson streets. The main entrance is located at 166 Brock Street, directly across from the Chown Memorial Parking Garage. Our Urgent Care Centre is located at 144 Brock Street. The City of Kingston will begin the second phase of road work near Hotel Dieu Hospital (HDH) from June 29 to July 15 at the areas of Johnson St from University Ave to Sydenham St and Barrie St from Brock St to 25 m south of Clergy St., with construction taking place daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. During this time, road closures and detours will be in effect in the surrounding area.

Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, next to Queen's University between Stuart and King streets. The main Kidd-Davies entrance is located just off 76 Stuart Street, directly across from the Stuart Street Underground Parking Garage. Our Emergency Department is located at 43 King Street West. The Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario is located in the Burr wing of the Kingston General Hospital (KGH) site and can be accessed from the entrance at 25 King Street West, near the corner of George Street. Both our sites are served by multiple Kingston Transit routes, which make stops outside the hospitals throughout the day and well into the evening. This includes several of Kingston Transit's express routes. To plan your transit trip in advance, you can use the Kingston Transit Trip Planner tool.
