Effective immediately masking is required for everyone when present on all inpatient units, in the Emergency Department (ED), the Urgent Care Centre (UCC), and the Children’s Outpatient Centre (COPC).
The KGH Women's Aid was founded in 1906 and within one year had 110 members. They held their first fundraising event, "Made in Canada", in 1907 and in 1912 they held one of their most successful early fundraising events, the "Festival of Empire", which raised funds towards the construction of the Empire Wing.
This organization, now known as the KGH Auxiliary, was one of the first of its kind in Ontario.
