J.A. (Sandy) Wilson
Sandy Wilson is a legacy member of the Board of Directors of Hotel Dieu Hospital, having been appointed to the role in 2015. In this role, he sat on the Resources Planning Committee, Audit Subcommittee and HDH/Queen’s Affiliation Agreement Subcommittee.
Wilson is a graduate of Queen’s University and the Architectural Association School of Architecture. He founded Alexander Wilson Architect in Kingston in 1988. The firm has a wide variety of government, private, institutional, non-profit and corporate clients.
His volunteer activities include his roles as the past president of the Frontenac Heritage Foundation and Festivals on the St. Lawrence, elected member of the Downtown Kingston! BIA, and President of Admiralty Place Condominium Corporation.
He and his wife Elizabeth will celebrate their 43 wedding anniversary in 2020 and are the parents of three daughters Alex, Sally and Gillian.
