As the largest surgical program in the region, you may also be referred to KHSC from another hospital for a special surgical procedure that is only available here. Our surgical teams complete the most complex procedures in the southeast region, so you can rest assured that you will be in good hands.

This minimally invasive procedure, in which surgeons use controls at a nearby console to guide a robotic system inside the body, means patients experience less pain and blood loss and spend less time in the hospital compared to other surgical approaches.
