Alan Cosford

Alan Cosford retired from BMO Bank of Montreal after having been involved in banking industry in Canada for thirty years and in the United Kingdom for seventeen years. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (UK) and has extensive knowledge in the fields of banking, commercial lending and financing.

Cosford was the Senior Manager for Commercial Banking in Kingston and prior to that Area Manager for Northern Ontario and North Western Ontario. Since retirement Alan has been a consultant mainly to a locally owned family business.

Cosford is a legacy member of Hotel Dieu Hospital Board, having served on the board for eight and half years, during which time he was the chair of a number of hospital committees. He has also previously served on the Board of the Limestone Learning Foundation and Northern College.
