Dr. Peggy DeJong received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo and her medical degree from Queen’s University. Her clinical training consisted of Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Queen’s University. She completed an additional year at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver General Hospital in echocardiography. She joined the Division of Cardiology at Queen’s University in 2014.
A visionary leader, when Mike sees a need in the health care environment he finds a way to meet that need. His entrepreneurial approach, informed by 32 years of health care experience, is evidenced in the successful implementation of key clinical programs at Hotel Dieu Hospital site including a provincial Bariatric Centre of Excellence, re-envisioned Chronic Pain Program that provides pain management to patients closer to home, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Urgent Consult Clinic, and Dermatology program, which includes a Mohs microsurgery service.
Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick is a graduate of University College Dublin, Ireland. His postgraduate clinical and research training was completed at University College Dublin and at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He is a Royal College certified specialist in internal medicine and respirology, and an American Board-certified sleep specialist.
Dr. David Pichora is the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hotel Dieu Hospital site, an academic ambulatory care hospital in Kingston, Ontario that is accredited with exemplary standing. He held the position of Chief of Staff at Hotel Dieu from July 2004 through early 2009 when he was appointed Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held until March 2017.
