All patients entering the program receive a psychiatric assessment with our team Psychiatrist. Follow-up support for comorbid-presenting concerns in the form of consultation, clinical support, and recommendations will be provided to community referral sources.
Interdisciplinary Team Assessment
During our team assessment day you will meet with our Nurse Practitioner, Dietitian, and Clinical Psychologist. Please plan to be here for about 2 to 2.5 hours to complete the full assessment.
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
You will meet with our NP who will complete a review of body systems and physical exam. When the assessment is completed, the NP will discuss the team’s recommendations and treatment plan.
You will meet with our Registered Dietitian who will complete a nutrition assessment and advise you of ongoing Nutrition Groups and treatment provided through the clinic.
Lastly, you will meet with our Clinical Psychologist who will discuss consent and confidentiality, provide an overview of the group therapy program, and invite you to participate in our ongoing Program Evaluation Research. Those who provide written consent to participate will complete standardized measures that help with ongoing monitoring of low mood, anxiety, and eating disorder symptoms, as well as treatment outcomes and overall patient satisfaction. Unidentified data is used for clinic research and program outcomes. Standardized measures are completed at the initial team assessment and are repeated assessments at 6 months to provide ongoing monitoring of symptom progress and treatment outcomes. Patients are also invited to meet with the Clinical Psychologist to discuss progress over the course of the program following completion of post treatment psychometrics.
